About me

Network Engineering Manager, Critical Infrastructure

I’m Ryan Huff, known online as NetworkNerd1337. I manage a network engineering team in the critical infrastructure industry, keeping about 2,000 devices across roughly 220 IT and OT sites running around the clock. Before that I spent eight years with several value-add resellers, including AdCap, Anexinet and ConvergeOne, deploying SD-WAN, security and collaboration solutions. I build network roadmaps, manage SD-WAN, and write my own Python tools to monitor it all. Off the clock, you’ll find me on the ham bands, writing, or tinkering with Linux and AI.
